chain drive evo sportys
Is there anybody out there with a chain evo sporty?bought mine off a"best friend"and after 20 miles thought"what have i done?" what a pile of old dog do it was-my chum had ridden it round scotland&ireland at high speed on our hols;no wonder he was snapping at me after another 300 mile day out-vibration intensity was off the scale.when i went thru the bike last winter it came as no surprise that it shook, the chain was beyond shagged(ditto sprockets)and after replacing chain things improved but still shook too much to be normal-next,stage 1 air filter(getting warm)screaming eagle silencers(warmer)and finally jet kit from wolvesharley and hey presto, now running sweet as a nut and looking forward to some great rides next spring-my point is that new harleys are only raw material and that spending moderate amounts of cash can improve the standard bike beyond recognition and never judge a harley on first impressions-and with that i ll sign off and go and bore somebody else-more to follow................s
